Right path are not generally right

First of all, am wishing you a happy new year. A promising year, full of fortunes, that encompasses progress,  dominated by health, and I pray you to trend on a successful path to the actualization, realisation and acclamation of your dreams. I regard this piece of work as a resolution for this year 2020. To progress in life, you have to examine your pass mistakes, your past flaws and to accept you are the Mastermind behind it. I want you to look back to 365 days ago, do a random check to the activities and events that transpired, you will vividly figure out your weakness and your strength, your rights and your wrongs, your excess and your deficiency, your independency and your dependency.  You should consider all these. I don't want you to make the same mistake you made last year,  thousands of people has their long list of "2019 resolutions", of course it is sensible, worth seeing, worth applauding, and a laudable list. Alas and behold! This is where  the problem lies,

SECOND HOME, SECOND FIDDLE

Second Home, Second Fiddle - The Iwo Case Every students of political history across the shores of Iwoland will easily recognize the inglorious locution of 'Our Second Home', its history, its implications and its meaning - both contextual and inferential. For the benefit of inquiring minds, It is a phrasal lip-service whose inception is dated back in the 70s. A lip-service paid on Iwo citizenry to acquire their thumbs anytime election is held. Political actors, having realised the importance of the teeming population of voters Iwo has, and having studied the mindset of the people, came up with the grand deceit. This was expressly used to the detriment of Iwo as a town. As a governorship contestant in the defunct Oyo state, Uncle Bola Ige, of blessed memory, used it to garner votes from Iwoland. Chief Bisi Akande and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola did same, promising the Iwo community heaven on earth, as their second home. The rest they say, is history as none of these promises was ever
