HEAVEN OF MY HEART

Image
Who has seen the sun today? Glamorous in its shine And Radiant in its pride With flaunting golden skin To tell of my love for you and the gladdens that it bear Words in their nature are created To be said, screamed, whispered and shared But the beautiful thought of love They are excellent in the crevices of heart and soul Left choiceless in the choice of words To live in awe and mesmer of feelings It seems too delicate for the mystery  A portion of reflection to feed on Diamonds hidden beneath the sea A diamond hunted to glitters for sure Every wake in the day to treasure the pleasure  A gem rare, refined and beauteous The heaven, where my heart is The peace that will be if I die  The love which might murder me The darling with spell-bounding look The edifice of stunning appearance A rhythm that breathes flow and life I've seen the ivory And all that are white So dazzling is her teeth And the smile made of them Decorating her mouth with beauty of white And he...

UNVEILING THE SECURITY ARCHITECTURE AND DAUNTING CHALLENGES IN ALL THE GEOPOLITICAL ZONES OF NIGERIA AND PROFFER WORKING SOLUTIONS TOWARDS A PEACEFUL SUSTAINABLE AND INDIVISIBLE NIGERIA

Image
Sometimes, it takes a bright mind and optimistic logic to see the opportunities of greatness that reside in this country parallel to the daily deafening news of violence and void, of daunting challenges in various parts of the nation. Like almost, the media would call the bad one news and the lovely ones current affairs. We are almost confused at the function of the media for any happenings thinking it is theirs to choose what happens. Anyways, my fact is enough for me to believe that we are more than twice blessed as the challenges facing us, and we can choose which side to see. As Bill Clinton rightly said, we can cure everything that is wrong about our nation with what is right.  Nigeria as a nation of 6 geopolitical zones featuring 3 each to the two protectorates that made it up, i.e the South and the North, has been facing several security threats, civil unrest and other challenges like tribal grief, political issues, economic depressions and infrastructural demand. These and ...

LET THE UNBORN HEAR

Image
And in time until recent, could I discover what it ever meant, to choose a spot and sit, on the cushion chairs or lie, on the lifted pad of foam. For hours and for days, weeks and time indefinite. Either doing or be done. Man is but embellished in fear, and the unfair thought of what may grieve him. Continents asunder to ashes of perplexion, in awe of the horrible distress. A hot air of dying awake, blown to challenge the globe we built. The ever-great history of the pen in ink and images dates to be related for generations. Death is inevitable but no man is living to die. Health is more cherished for all sick seek to heal. What then, shall we of a disease that holds your breath? Contagious, airborne they contest or droplets based. Spreading, through the globe from nations to continents. Cubicles, shouldn’t host if they are yours to be safe. Exactly, what shall I tell of the new century disease? Someone needs to replay the scenes of how the world president was wandering between words a...

Light of a New Year

Image
"When day comes, we step out of the shade, aflame and unafraid. The new dawn blooms as we free it. For there is always light if only we’re brave enough to see it, if only we’re brave enough to be it." ~Amanda Gorman Last year was indeed a great year that brought hope to reality and realization that we could actually earn it if we always want it. I found myself positioned at places I thought I've missed, I achieved things that I was on the last lap to give up on them. I thank God for the opportunities from last year, the several titles and offices I earned last year, the certifications I got last year, the books I read last year, the lessons I learnt and the people I met last year. Last year was beautiful! May this year be filled with more testimony and greater opportunities. This year, I will be focusing more on some things and building consistency. I hopefully will be reducing greatly the attention I pay to some unnecessary affairs and I will get more to building on my g...

The Ladokites Agitations on JusticeForNifemi

Image
"It's so much darker when a light goes out than it would have been if it had never shone." ~John Steinbeck Our napkin is still soaked in tears because our mind is grieved. Our hearts were tatteredly shot with the pain of death, the agony of the pain, and circumstances of negligence surrounding it.  On the evening of a Thursday, 22nd of April, the demise of Asefon Nifemi Bernard became evident. Sources explained that he had earlier fell into a latrine pit after switching electricity where he spent about 25minutes (another source claimed 45minutes) before being rescued. Sources expatiated that upon bringing him to the LTH, Ogbomoso, the medical practitioner claimed they couldn't attend to him unless the DSA presence is registered. 15minutes afterward was the DSA arrival on which the source claimed heard reporting the unavailability of oxygen gas. This unavailability of oxygen gas was not admitted by the hospital resident doctors, according to tweet. It was s...

Day 7: Favorite Movie

Image
Like I said in the last episode, I am really not a fan of many things including sports and many social involvements.  Foundational basis,  I love Bollywood. It's just suit the perfect amusement of watching that I want,  with their pinch of salt. I've watched many that I can't remember their titles.  Earlier this year,  I developed a serious zeal to watch the Game of Thrones but at the maximum of 7mins,  I will fall asleep or lost myself.  I so much want to see the movie but my strength couldn't bear it.  The movie has been reviewed to have great politicking lessons.  So far, I have enjoyed Merlin and the Legend of the Seeker as series movie and I appreciates Nollywood too as an ambassador of the land. I once watched Figurine, I enjoys movies from Odunlade Adekola crime stories and others.   But the summary of the long boring talk is that,  I can't call any my favorite. I watch what excites me.  ~iamBECOOL

Day 6: Single and Happy

Image
I am really unfamiliar with many social terms. Being single isn't cursed and being tangled isn't fang. Both matters at their times. By the way, people like us,  we are single and we are happy. Enjoying life to the fullest of it,  taking on every every opportunity and exploring the values of living.  Isn't that awesome?  ~iamBECOOL

THE IMPACT OF THE FCE ON IWOLAND PROSPERITY

Image
The path to growth is always an endless journey featuring successes and failures,  achievements and retrial, influenced by relative discovery in the sciences and the arts, and commercial management.  At the foundation of this is the common fact that any community that is interested in a growth the future generation will treasure,  then it should give appreciable values to education. It will suit the exposition of the topic to firstly narrate what Iwoland entails. Iwoland, in context,  is Yoruba kingdom located in the State of Osun and comprising three Local Government Areas viz Ayedire; Iwo and Ola-Oluwa made up about 400,000 aggregate of population.  Iwoland is predominantly Muslims with a vast majority as civil servants,  clerics or farmers accordingly. Iwoland happens to be the largest in Osun state and the 1931 5th largest in Nigeria led by Ibadan,  Kano,  Lagos and Ogbomoso in order. Iwoland is poorly industrialized, poorly commercialized, po...

Day 5: Your Parents

Image
My motivation and my essence.  The roots that gives me sweetness that I produce,  the source of my nutritious value.  My parents.  I often acquainted myself with the quote that it is of no man to be begotten of two wombs, but I got to discovery of an idea that womb lies even outside the stomach.  Womb is nursery,  of embryo or brilliance of thought, of finance opportunities or life goals. At every stages of my existence, I have enjoyed tutolege and mentoring from families and relatives,  teachers and bosses.  These people are my parents,  they have in one way shown me to place my foot in times of faltering steps. My feeding and clothing,  and shelter and witting isn't done by me,  my parents are up and doing.  To all that have contributed to this, I gave you this episode.   Thanks for being adorable parents,  lovely fathers and wonderful mamas. ~iamBECOOL

Day 4: Places You Want To Visit

Image
I must concur as a matter of fact that this challenge is opening up an expository about me,  topics that I rarely discussed about.  Irrespective,  I will deliver my best possible in this,  I never know what lies at tail. I would have built a great love for sighting places but the stress of travelling can be highly irritating.  A Nigerian vehicle on a Nigerian road! Like the regular zealousness we all grew up with,  visiting makkah is cherished to earth and no amount worthy the negotiations. I want to see the holy places, touch the land of Arabs and decorations on the walls of their palaces.  I like governance. Countries I will eventually visit, I will see their parliamentary arrangements.  I want to visit the UK,  the Japan and Russia. To visit the England and wine with the queen. Lastly,  there's a place I saw in my dream. I can well describe the place if you come into my mind. I longe to visit there, one day.  I wantu ...

Day 3: A Memory

Image
It took me over 48hours to come up with this day, not majorly because of any tight schedule but for the memory that couldn't recollect any memorable event to tell.  I have vowed however,  with my ultimum for this opus to be real and less of fiction and metaphoric effect.  I would have skipped this day and the fourth,  but thanks to my motivational brother. For the ones who are familiar with me,  they will testify to my consistent adoration for 1438. It isn't just a digit but a year in Hijrih calendar when I had to give appreciation to what I am blessed with,  my writing and my spokemanship (until I couldn't find it again 🙈) How did it go?  I'm sorry,  I can't remember but I hold fast to the fact that feedback really helps a lot.  Tell someone what good they've done and you may be their lifetime inspiration.  Show me what I could have done better and you may be my model for eternity.  Dearly yours,  I made memories ...

Day 2: What Makes You Happy

Image
Day 2: Things That Makes You Happy It's ain't easy to be consistent but all men derives joy of success,  of victory and excellence.  As such is pushing me to the nocturnal attitude while I pen this down.  My joy lies in my success.  Where lies yours? I said yesterday that I cherish substance of upstairs,  I mean intellectual stuff.  When I see my associates that display this,  I am elated.  I was taught to believe that earth great treasure lies in human personality.  So,  I chose a resolution that the best asset to wear is the cap of wit. Also,  I take my joy when my innovations are proved applicable or applauded.  Likewise,  it makes me happy when I see the success of having caused somebody's smile.  It's a joy of satisfaction that I like to feel.  It's my primary ambition to be a completion to people's goal. It's the most lovely one,  to read my happiness on others face.  Actually,  h...

Day 1: My Personality

Image
I am me,  the only copy of myself ever made.  For that I am a scarce being,  I treasure myself like the last trace of gem found after thousands meters mining.  I live to love and to serve,  to have fun and to treasure moments. I cherish friendship and I love humanity.  I love to speak and make them match my deeds.  I dream to be an impact, so I thread the path.  My personality is a cheerful one, quick to associate with. I believe in teamwork. I so much cherish personal development and substance of upstairs.  Like all that exist, I have my strength and my weaknesses.  I have my skill and my incapabilities. I'm not great at sport but people credits my writing and oratory. I'm weak at remembering events. I have my moments of annoyance too and I feel unhappy at times too.  Management and politics is a treasured skill and I found time worthy in learning leadership, and tact, knowledge of skills and management.  I am a ge...

FELLOW IN DEPENDENCE

Image
It's a time to be sincere,  and also to be frank. What do we have to celebrate about Nigeria? A man begotten already, would not be found in the womb again. Not after the delivery day,  not 60years after.  Poor me! I grew up to the cliche about East or West, that home is the best. Nurtured with a passion o believe that Nigeria not a country, it's a nation. Rather, it's the blood in my vein. Nigeria, it's a spirit that bind us to brothers, and to our ancestors whose history has written heroes for them. Nigeria, it's the epithet that define our affiliation with good and great people of this black nation, the good character of it, the bad and her propaganda. Our soil and oil, that we sing praises now and then. Our hearts and our acts, that we layed in the golden glass. Used or not, we've kept this for 60 year. The traditional me grew up to say Happy whenever we remember the boring tales of our enslaved independence. Hurray to fellow Nigerians in dependen...

HELLO!

Image
I often hear people saying "I will chat those who chat me, I value those who value me, I remember those who remember me". If we all decide to go with that mantra or slogan, then my questions are:- who is chatting first?who is valuing first?  who is taking the lead in the remembrance? We are so blind enough not to see the main problem, it's  EGO/PRIDE , no one wants to take the lead based on his superiority motive, I think we should endeavor to swallow that and watch each other's back. Realistically, I shouldn't be seeing you in my direct message only when you have a beauty pageant contest to win, nor should I be seeing for some referral contests. We have flown the air like birds and swum the sea like fishes, but have yet to learn the simple act of walking the earth like brothers. Brotherhood, I think shouldn't be physical alone, it goes beyond. It's either we live together as brothers or perish together as fools. Check on th...

Right path are not generally right

First of all, am wishing you a happy new year. A promising year, full of fortunes, that encompasses progress,  dominated by health, and I pray you to trend on a successful path to the actualization, realisation and acclamation of your dreams. I regard this piece of work as a resolution for this year 2020. To progress in life, you have to examine your pass mistakes, your past flaws and to accept you are the Mastermind behind it. I want you to look back to 365 days ago, do a random check to the activities and events that transpired, you will vividly figure out your weakness and your strength, your rights and your wrongs, your excess and your deficiency, your independency and your dependency.  You should consider all these. I don't want you to make the same mistake you made last year,  thousands of people has their long list of "2019 resolutions", of course it is sensible, worth seeing, worth applauding, and a laudable list. Alas and behold! This is where  the problem l...

SECOND HOME, SECOND FIDDLE

Second Home, Second Fiddle - The Iwo Case Every students of political history across the shores of Iwoland will easily recognize the inglorious locution of 'Our Second Home', its history, its implications and its meaning - both contextual and inferential. For the benefit of inquiring minds, It is a phrasal lip-service whose inception is dated back in the 70s. A lip-service paid on Iwo citizenry to acquire their thumbs anytime election is held. Political actors, having realised the importance of the teeming population of voters Iwo has, and having studied the mindset of the people, came up with the grand deceit. This was expressly used to the detriment of Iwo as a town. As a governorship contestant in the defunct Oyo state, Uncle Bola Ige, of blessed memory, used it to garner votes from Iwoland. Chief Bisi Akande and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola did same, promising the Iwo community heaven on earth, as their second home. The rest they say, is history as none of these promises was ever...
